Candidate privacy
How we handle candidate information.
Candidate information is private by default. A candidate may choose to publish selected professional fields while contact details, compensation, documents and internal records remain protected. This notice explains how TREX LEGAL & PARTNERS LLC processes applications and Talent profiles through HomeOffice.ge.
Last updated: 14 August 2026
Controller and contact
The controller is TREX LEGAL & PARTNERS LLC (company registration number 406268792), legal address: Mikheil Gakhokidze Str. No. 49, Tbilisi, Georgia. Send privacy requests or withdrawal notices to privacy@homeoffice.ge. General enquiries may be sent to info@homeoffice.ge.
Data and sources
We process data you provide, including identity and contact details, CV and other professional-document versions, employment and education history, professional roles, skills, languages, projects, certifications, links, location, work preferences, availability, saved positions, alert choices, application responses and communications. Candidate-account records also include email-verification status, password hashes, one-time token hashes, login-security events and candidate-visible notifications; raw passwords and raw reset tokens are not retained. We may add proportionate assessment or interview notes and verify relevant professional information from references or public professional sources after giving the information required by law.
Purposes and legal bases
We use candidate data to provide and secure a private candidate account, review a specific application, maintain a consent-based talent profile, preserve the application status shown to you, assess professional fit, communicate about relevant opportunities you have asked to receive, arrange interviews, make human recruitment decisions, protect the service and keep records required by law. Depending on the step, processing is based on consent, action requested by you before a contract, employment-related necessity, a legal obligation or an important legitimate interest that is not overridden by your rights. Saving a position is private and does not create an application or notify a prospective employer.
Retention until revocation
A candidate account, Talent profile and professional-document versions are retained until you revoke consent or request deletion, subject to periodic review of necessity and accuracy. You may revoke consent at any time through available account controls or by emailing privacy@homeoffice.ge. We will stop the consent-based processing and erase or destroy the affected data within 10 working days unless another lawful ground requires limited continued retention, for example a legal obligation or the establishment or defence of a claim. Job alerts can be paused or deleted immediately in the account; consent and withdrawal evidence may be retained for the legally required period. Expired email-verification and password-reset token records are operational security data and should be removed by the documented maintenance process. A specific-job application is retained while the recruitment purpose and any applicable lawful recordkeeping or claims need continues, then erased, destroyed or depersonalised.
Client introductions and recipients
You may choose to publish selected professional fields on a public Talent profile and may later change that visibility in your account. We may share a separately selected, versioned set of relevant candidate information with a prospective client only for a genuine opportunity, after appropriate information and a lawful basis, and through client-scoped authorization. Compensation and protected-document access require separate controls. Access may also be provided to authorised staff and contracted hosting, email, security or recruitment-support providers under confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We do not sell candidate data.
Special data and documents
Do not send passport, financial, health, criminal-record or other special-category information at the initial application or talent-network stage unless specifically requested. If such data later becomes necessary, we will explain the purpose, legal basis, recipients and safeguards before collection.
International transfers
A relevant opportunity or service provider may involve a recipient outside Georgia. We assess the transfer ground and safeguards required by Georgian law and obtain any required authorisation. If written consent is used because adequate safeguards are unavailable, we will explain the possible risks before asking for it.
Human review and your rights
This release does not make final recruitment decisions solely by automated processing. Future matching tools may assist human reviewers but will not silently make a legally or similarly significant decision without the required safeguards. You may request information, access, a copy, correction, deletion, blocking, applicable portability, withdrawal of consent and review of qualifying automated decisions by contacting privacy@homeoffice.ge. You may also complain to the State Audit Office of Georgia or a competent court.
