The IT Skills Passport is a private structured source profile. It improves matching because roles, skills and recency are searchable, while personal identity and documents remain separated from any employer-facing anonymous presentation.
The Skills Passport is your source profile.
Instead of maintaining separate CV copies, enter your current professional information once: role, skills, languages, experience, projects, certifications, links, availability and documents.
Structured data improves matching.
A recruiter can search a structured skill, role or language more reliably than a keyword hidden inside a PDF. Recency, commercial experience and role structure also make matching more precise.
Structured fields also reduce ambiguity between similar terms. A role, a technology, a seniority level, a language level and a project are different signals; keeping them separate allows matching to use each signal for the purpose it actually represents.
Private data and employer-facing data are separated.
Name, contact details, direct professional links, documents and compensation stay private by default. Anonymous capability information can be prepared separately where the Talent has given the relevant consent.
CV Studio reuses the same profile.
Generate a HomeOffice Tech CV, Clean White CV, Anonymous Client CV, European Structured CV or Europass-aligned CV from the same source data. Editable Word and PDF/print formats follow the selected layout.
Keep the profile current rather than perfect.
Update availability, recent skills and new projects when they change. A 70% current profile is more useful than a 100% profile that has not been touched for two years.
Role structure comes before the skill list.
Choose a primary role that describes the work you want to be matched for, then select related roles you can credibly perform. This prevents a long list of technologies from creating an unclear professional identity.
Skill recency changes matching quality.
A technology used actively today should be distinguishable from one last used several years ago. The Skills Passport records current/last-used context so matching can favour relevant experience without deleting your career history.
Recency matters because ten years of historical exposure is not the same as current production use. Marking whether a technology is used now or when it was last used helps a recruiter distinguish current capability from valuable background knowledge.
Projects and certifications add evidence around the profile.
Selected projects show where skills were applied. Certifications can support cloud, security or platform expertise. Both can remain private at the identifying level while still contributing structured capability information when you allow it.
Availability prevents wasted conversations.
Employment status, earliest start, notice period, hours and engagement preferences help HomeOffice.ge avoid contacting you for opportunities that cannot realistically work. Keep them current even if the rest of your profile changes less frequently.
Privacy controls are separate decisions.
You can allow an anonymous Talent profile without publishing your CV or contact details. You can separately allow proactive employer representation. A specific employer introduction still follows a controlled workflow.
This separation is deliberate: discoverability should not require surrendering personal identity to the public web.
CV Studio is an output, not a second profile.
The same structured data can produce branded, clean, anonymous, European-structured and Europass-aligned CV layouts. Change the source profile once, then regenerate the document rather than maintaining several stale Word files.
When the source profile changes, the next generated CV can use the updated facts automatically. That reduces duplicate maintenance and makes it easier to create a clean named CV, an anonymous client version or a more formal European layout from the same verified record.
